PRICE LIST & HOW TO PAY
KATIKATI COLLEGE UNIFORM REGULATIONS
At Katikati College, we work in conjunction with parents to ensure that our uniform code and expectations are met. The correct school uniform is to be worn at school and at all school-related functions. This includes:
• The normal school day 8.30 - 3.05
• School Exams (Senior and Junior School Exams, NCEA Exams)
• During PE lessons
• While representing the school
Year 7 to 10 Boys and Girls
• Regulation green/black polo shirt
• Regulation College sweatshirt and/or College hoodie
• Long-sleeve black thermal if needed during winter
• Regulation College black pants, shorts, skirts or lavalava
• Regulation black jacket
• Black shoes or black sandals with straps (no brand signs or symbols)
• Black socks
• Regulation P.E. top with own black sports shorts
• Year 10 students may move into the senior blouse/shirt in Terms 3 & 4
Year 11 & 12 Boys and Girls
• Regulation striped blouse/shirt
• Either regulation black pants, shorts, skirts or lavalava
• Regulation College sweatshirt and/or College hoodie
• Regulation black jacket
• Black shoes or black sandals with straps (no brand signs or symbols)
• Black socks
• Regulation tie and blazers for representative and formal occasions
COMMON ITEMS
• Regulation sunhat, cap and beanie – no other hats are to be worn (hats will be removed inside)
• Scarves may be worn in Terms 2 and 3 only. They are required to be black
• Black or white long-sleeve thermals can be worn
GIRLS
• Plain black pantyhose (winter)
JACKETS
• College jackets may be worn both indoors and outdoors throughout the year. Non-college jackets are not permitted
• Regulation school uniforms, or sports uniforms, must be worn when travelling
All items of clothing are the responsibility of the student and should be named.
FACIAL PIERCINGS
Any facial piercings need to be a small stud.
FACIAL HAIR
It is preferred that students are clean-shaven at all times.
GENERAL
In working towards the school values, students are encouraged to have pride in themselves and the school uniform.
Jewellery - it is preferred that students wear jewellery that would be acceptable in a general work environment.
Tattoos - are allowed. Students who have offensive Tattoos will be expected to cover them up.
Students wearing an incorrect uniform will be provided with a uniform pass, to be issued by the Dean or SLT. The Dean will contact home to discuss the need for the correct uniform.
LAYBY OPTIONS
Students can come in for a fitting and our staff will supply them with an "order” docket to take home for a layby. Payments can be made through Internet Banking (ONLINE) at your convenience. All "orders/layby's" must be fully paid up before being handed over. Layby's that have an initial 30% deposit will be held for 8 weeks and can be paid off during that time.
Layby's without a deposit will be returned to stock within 2 weeks if you have not contacted the shop with further instructions.
Payments through internet banking are recommended if you cannot visit the shop.

1. Visa or Eftpos payments. Please note: A surcharge of 1.3% will apply to credit cards & contactless transactions. There is no surcharge for EFTPOS or debit cards that are inserted or swiped.
2. Paying by cash.
WINZ PAYMENTS
Pick up a Katikati College uniform price list form from the uniform shop or download the PDF from this page. You can use this for submission to WINZ.
Your uniform will be fitted once you have been issued with your WINZ card specifically coded for uniform purchases. Please be aware there is a limited time frame for you to purchase.

REFUND POLICY
Terms and Conditions for Refunds and Returns as per the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) in New Zealand.
Eligibility for Returns and Timeframes - Items must be returned within 45 days of the purchase date at the school uniform shop where the item was bought. Refunds or credits may require assessment by our quality control team and can take 3–5 working days (or longer if necessary).
All items being considered for refund will firstly be inspected to ensure they can be sold on as a new item and in the same new condition as when purchased.
Evaluation of Returned Items: All returned items will be inspected to determine if they can be resold as new. Depending on circumstances, we may offer one or more of the following: Repair, Replacement, Refund.
Return And/Or Refund Reasons
• Item has an obvious manufacturing fault.
• Wrong item was issued.
• No longer required / Change of mind.
Return Criteria (the following conditions apply)
• Proof of purchase is required including the original receipt and may also include a bank verification showing the bank transaction.
• The item/s has remained brand new, must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, clean, and not wrinkled.
Refund Process
• Approved refunds are not necessarily issued immediately at the time of your shop visit and may take 3 – 5 working days.
• Refunds will be returned to the original payment method (excluding cash) used for the purchase or to the customer’s bank account (for cash payments).
• The processing timeframe may vary depending on the bank or card issuer.
Exclusions – Exchanges Only (if applicable):
• When items were purchased using WINZ, CIFS, Trust, Charity, School PO payment.
• WINZ/CIFS/Trust/Charity/School PO payments -Items paid via these methods may not be refunded but may be eligible for exchange where allowed.
• Special one-off orders -No refunds or exchanges for items made as a bespoke or special order.
• Non-returnable items - Freight charges, gift cards or vouchers, and personal/hygiene items (for health and safety reasons) are not refundable.
How to Initiate a Return
• Bring the item(s) along with the original receipt to THE U SHOP where you purchased from.
• If returning by post or courier (where applicable), include proof of purchase and the reason for your return.
• As all items returned remain the responsibility of the customer until received at UNIFORM GROUP / THE U SHOP it is recommended that you return items via Courier Track and Trace rather than post.
